Superintendent finalists meet and greet Trinidad citizens

...Dr. Manuel Rodriguez toured Trinidad on Friday. He is currently the Assistant Superintendent of the Baltimore [County], Md. Public Schools, which have 104,000 students. A native of Odessa, Texas, he earned his bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University and also holds a doctoral degree in educational administration/curriculum & instruction from that school. Married with two kids, he said he is ready to return to his southwestern roots and looks forward to the challenges and opportunities presented by the Trinidad position. He spoke about student responsibility, getting kids to take charge of their own education and future. He shared his beliefs with the group at the meeting...
