The Gazette changed the name and content of this article. It was previously titled "Education of black students has difficult challenges"
ReplyDeleteIt lacked any journalistic integrity, was dehumanizing, and racist.
"Recent data...show strategies to help more black students to achieve results that come closer to their more affluent counterparts still requires more thought and sweat."
Wow. The article pats MCPS on the back for "the way" it " educates black students. Yes, there are disparities. To describe an entire group of students with one huge brush that paints them as poor, uneducated, apathetic to academic success is a disgrace to the paper, misrepresents MCPS, and is an affront to our community.
