Montgomery council to monitor school system’s growing surplus

Gazette:  School system has $32 million surplus

  1. When asked after the meeting why it was not mentioned, Ervin said, “We had conversations prior to this.” Yes, because in Montgomery County everything is done in secret behind closed doors. It is a misnomer to say that the council is 'monitoring' the surplus. This is business as usual for the BOE and the County Council. Nothing has changed.
