Joshua Starr got a raise!

On July 16, 2013, the Board of Education had the following discussion in a CLOSED SESSION:
Discussed compensation for the superintendent of schools whose compensation is not covered by a salary schedule in any negotiated agreement, as permitted under Section 10-508(a)(1) of the State Government Article.
Looks like the Superintendent got a raise!  But, the discussion was in Closed Session so taxpayers will never know.  Well, that is, until we get the bill.

Here's Superintendent Joshua Starr's contract.  See Page 4, Section 4-B for the statement that it is "presumed the Board will grant an annual increase in the salary paid to the Superintendent..."
