From the article, this is interesting:
She also pointed out the book was among those approved by the state of Florida and that parents as well as community members were given the opportunity to review the textbook before it was adopted.
Here in Montgomery County, Pearson is writing the entire elementary school curriculum and writing the assessments that are being given three times a year in every elementary school grade, but parents and community members haven't been able to see one sentence of the new curriculum.
