PG County Leads the Way in Protecting Public School Land from Commercial Take Overs

Daly Elementary School cell tower

Should your local public school playground be turned over to commercial businesses that have no relationship to the educational purpose of the school?

The Prince George's County Delegation has proposed a bill that seeks to address that issue.

Congratulations to the Prince George's County Delegation for standing up for public school children! Discussing how public school land is used is the first step in protecting public school land from non-educational uses.

Public school playgrounds have been bought, paid for, and dedicated to the use of public school children. Let's respect our children and keep public school land for the purpose that it was intended.
